Powder Pups Vanity Room - New Groomers
We’re excited to announce that Jacynta who owns Powder Pups Vanity Room, will also be taking over the grooming services for all your pup’s grooming needs. She will be with us 4 days a week!!
From 1st August 2023 we’re delighted to offer a one-stop shop – your pup can have a wash and blow dry, nail trim and ear clean, or feet, face and hygiene clip (or all of it!) while they are with us for daycare.
That will be one smart pup at afternoon pick-up!
Pricing and a booking process will be up very soon!
Changes to Pricing and Payments
We’ve been pleased to be able to keep our prices constant for the 18 months. However, so that we can continue to deliver the very best care and experience for all of the beloved pups joining us, our rates will have a nominal increase from 11September 2023. We hope you agree that Playful Pups still represents excellent value for money in caring for your beloved fur family.
New cancellation and no-show policies
Spaces at Playful Pups are in hot demand! Increasingly, we are fully booked and sadly have to turn away pups that want to spend the day with us.
So that we can reallocate a reservation to another pup if one is unable to attend a booked session, we’re introducing a cancellation policy which applies for late cancellations and no-shows from 1 June 2022.
A late cancellation charge of 50% of the booked service will apply to clients that fail to cancel by 5pm the day prior to the reservation.
While it’s rare for our wonderful clients not to turn up on the day, sometimes no-shows do happen. In which case, 100% of the booked service will apply. If our client has a 10- or 20-day package, we will deduct a day from it.
We feel that this is a fair approach to avoid disappointing the fur families we’ve had to turn away. It’s easy to cancel a reservation if you need to: just reply to the reminder SMS or give Joe a call or text before 5pm the day before.
Kennel Cough Factsheet
As with Covid-19, kennel cough circulates within the community. There are steps we can all take to avoid the virus, such as maintaining a regular program of C5 vaccinations, but if dogs catch it there is no need to be alarmed. Just as has been found with Covid-19, kennel cough symptoms most of the time are mild when the dog is vaccinated.
Please monitor your dog for symptoms, which include a runny nose, sneezing and a dry, hacking cough. If you suspect your dog has kennel cough, the advice is to isolate them until the coughing has stopped.
OUR COVID 19 SAFE PLAN
We have, and will continue, to ensure procedures are in place to keep you and your FUR-baby safe.
